Mary Ryder Home also accepts online donations using your MasterCard, Visa, or American Express cards. Click here to make an online donation with your debit or credit card. All donors receive an acknowledgement letter thanking them for their generous support. Donors are also included in our annual donor list published in our newsletter.

MEMORIAL AND TRIBUTE GIFTS:
You can make an enduring tribute to a family member, friend or other loved one whether you contribute today or plan for a deferred gift. Your gift can be in memory of someone special or in honor of an event, such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation or other special occasion.

GIFTS OF APPRECIATED ASSETS:
You may find that gifts of stocks that have appreciated in value may provide several advantages to you when compared to making a cash donation. You can deduct the fair market value of qualified non-cash property and pay no capital gains tax, provided you have held the asset for more than one year.

You may also want to make a gift of an asset that can be claimed as a capital loss. If you own securities worth less than what you paid for them, you have an additional advantage when you donate the securities to Mary Ryder Home. You can sell the securities, make a gift of the proceeds to Mary Ryder Home and claim a loss on the sale, as well as a charitable deduction for your gift.
